When the lunch bell rang, thousands of students filled the courtyard and separated into familiar groups. Denis Estimon knew what it felt like to be the student without one. Remembering the isolation he experienced after immigrating from Haiti, Denis and his friends created We Dine Together.
Their mission was simple and deeply human: notice who was sitting alone, pull up a chair and begin a conversation. Hundreds of friendships followed. The idea grew from Boca Raton into a movement with chapters across the country.
This is where PROPEL’s belief that relationships are built around the table took on a life of its own.
